I’ve been a little nervous all week.said Deona. “I always feel like I have butterflies in my stomach and I don’t sleep particularly well before big things like this, whether it’s our IMPACT pay-per-view or tonight on Dynamite. I’m a little anxious. I just want to start the day and I want to get there. I am walking into new territory. I don’t know many of these people in AEW, or haven’t seen them in years. It will be like going back to my own rhythm in this new place with some new and familiar people, but here I am as a beginner.

WWE, and changing dreams

Deonna Purrazzo’s career has seen the opening of a new chapter, after being released by WWE in April 2020. She revealed her gratitude to IMPACT Wrestling for giving her a chance during the pandemic.

“None I was talking for a while last night. The new layoffs from WWE may not compare to mine because the situation is different for each of us, but I found myself in a different round of layoffs, there was a pandemic and there was no independent wrestling, and therefore no there were many. other companies that could hire. It was just a very bad time for everyone.”

“I was really able to do well on IMPACT, and I didn’t need the shows onemployees or autograph sessions, because IMPACT was able to give visibility to everyone and use social media in our favor, doing something like Wrestle House, where more people showed themselves in different ways. I was able to take advantage of it.”

The two-time knockout of the year then revealed that her dream was to show up at WrestleMania and win the Divas Championship, but now her dreams have changed.

I think dreams changeDeonna Purrazzo said. “I think as we get older we experience more things. My historical dream has always been to wrestle at WrestleMania and be the Divas Champion at that time. That’s all I knew about wrestling growing up, so that was my ultimate goal. then i arrived [alla WWE] and it was like I didn’t like anything about that system. It’s just not a favorable environment for me, so my dream has changed. Now I just want to go to a place that appreciates me and gives me a chance to fight and see what happens.”
